Lawrence D. Downs Endowed Scholarship

The Lawrence D. Downs Endowed Scholarship will help support future business leaders in their educational journey.

Larry Downs is remembered for his lifelong commitment to learning and helping others achieve success. He never hesitated to offer advice when asked or simply be a sounding board. He believed that his duty as a professor was sometimes beyond the classroom where he committed himself to helping students with his guidance and expertise. His love for Nichols College and the community was contagious.

“He [Larry Downs] was always willing to lend an ear, offer advice, and share a laugh. The education and guidance he has provided has been part of my success and for that I thank him.”
